The La Mirada Chamber of Commerce’s 18th Annual Golf Tournament will tee off June 9, 2008 at the Candlewood Golf Course in Whittier. Foursomes, twosomes, and singles can enter to play in the 18 hole, private golf course tournament. The tournament will once again feature a Golf Ball Drop. Participants can purchase a golf ball that will be dropped from a helicopter. A Hole-in-One wins $2000.00, or if not ball goes in, the closest to the pin wins $1,000.00. One player will also get the chance at the Million Dollar Shoot-Out! Join the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce for a fun- filled day of golf on a world-class championship course, networking opportunities, promoting business, making new friends and contacts for your business, and lots of good food! Residents are also invited to participate.
